Western Pacific

Western Pacific Trading (WPT) Packing Extractor Tools are specialized marine maintenance tools designed to remove old, worn, and deteriorated flax or synthetic packing from boat propeller shaft stuffing boxes and rudder stuffing boxes. Built for hard-to-reach marine applications, these flexible packing removal tools help simplify stuffing box maintenance while reducing the risk of damaging delicate propeller shafts and surrounding components.

Featuring a flexible spiral-wound steel shaft and a tempered steel corkscrew auger tip, WPT Packing Extractors allow boat owners, marine mechanics, and professional technicians to reach deep into confined stuffing boxes and narrow bilge areas. Simply rotate the auger tip into the old packing material and carefully pull-out embedded packing rings for easier removal.

Unlike rigid screwdrivers and improvised removal tools, the flexible design provides improved access and maneuverability while helping minimize the risk of scratching or scoring bronze and stainless-steel propeller shafts.

Shop Western Pacific Trading (WPT) Packing Extractor Tools at U.S. Boating & Marine Supplies for dependable marine maintenance tools, stuffing box service equipment, and boat propeller shaft packing removal supplies.

Marine Buyer Tip: Always select a packing extractor that provides suitable reach for your stuffing box. Use care during removal to avoid damaging the propeller shaft, stuffing box, or sealing surfaces.
