Uflex Yamaha Zero Torque Feedback Tiller is a specialized hydraulic solution designed to eliminate the exhausting propeller torque felt at the handle of high-horsepower, tiller-steered outboard engines. Four-stroke outboards generate substantial torque loads, making them difficult and tiring to hold steady.
The ZTF system resolves this by utilizing a patented hydraulic valve that locks out propeller forces when you are cruising straight, allowing the boat to maintain its course effortlessly. When you push or pull the tiller handle to steer, the mechanical valve instantly opens to provide smooth, active hydraulic control.
The system is split into two primary models specifically engineered for Yamaha four-stroke outboards (compatible from 2008 models to the present):

Uflex Yamaha 150-200hp Zero Torque Feedback Tiller
- Standout Feature: Heavy-duty hydraulic system built to withstand massive steering torque from large 150–200 HP outboards.
- Kit Details: Features the robust UC130-ZTF cylinder, pre-filled hoses, engine-specific adapters, and throttle/shift cables. Like the Y1, the physical tiller handle is not included.

Safety
While the system lets you drive with a light touch and greatly reduces driver fatigue, it is critical to know that propeller torque will still be felt momentarily while you are actively initiating a turn. The operator must keep a firm, continuous grip on the handle at all times; this system does not act as an autonomous pilot or a handle locking mechanism for hands-free driving.
