Sierra 18-7508 MerCruiser Power Steering Pump is a premium aftermarket replacement part designed to meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications for MerCruiser stern drive engines. This standard replacement pump generates the necessary hydraulic pressure to assist marine steering, serving as a direct fit for many 4.3L V6, 5.0L, 5.7L, and select 7.4L V8 configurations.

Important Installation Notes
- Pulley Installation: The pump comes without a pulley. You must reuse your old pulley or purchase a new one. Because it features a smooth shaft with a press-on pulley attachment type, you must use a power steering removal/installer tool. Never hammer the pulley onto the shaft, as doing so will cause internal damage to the pump mechanism.
- Pressure Valve: Ensure you inspect the pressure regulating valve. When swapping or installing a marine pump, keeping the correct pressure rating is vital for safe and reliable stern drive operation.
