SIERRA 18-5642 Outboard Starter is a premium counter-clockwise rotating starter is for Mercury and Mariner outboard motors. In addition to meeting UL standards, Sierra outboard starters comply with international standards required by the European Community. Remanufactured starters have new solenoids, drives, bushings, brushes and springs. The bodies are powder-coated for greater corrosion resistance.
