Sierra 18-5466 8 Cyl Ignition Coil Flame-Thrower Hi-Performance Ignition Coil is an oil-filled canister coil designed primarily for 8-cylinder marine engines. It delivers a powerful 40,000-volt output with a 1.5-ohm primary resistance, optimizing energy across the entire RPM range to support larger spark plug gaps, which improves power, starting reliability, and fuel efficiency. It is purpose-built to work with original PerTronix Ignitor electronic conversion kits as well as other inductive ignition systems.
