Genuine OEM Johnson/Evinrude/OMC part. This oil filter is specifically designed for use in tough marine environments. Unlike automotive filters, OMC's marine filters are designed for the higher RPMs and wide temperature range experienced in marine engines.

Application: 4 in-line Chevy 153 C.I.D, 181 C.I.D., 6 in-line Chevy 250 C.I.D

Features:

• Metal End Caps - are sealed to the element so oil can't leak past and get back into the engine unfiltered
• Filter Element - is a resin impregnated, heat-cured, paper media with microscopic pores that capture and hold harmful particles
• Anti Drain Back Valve - keeps oil from draining out of the engine during shut down preventing “dry” starts
• Back Plate - has a rolled seam to prevent leaks into the bilge
