Description
Jet Logic Complete Folding Anchor System is a complete, all-in-one anchoring kit designed for the temporary mooring of personal watercraft (PWCs), kayaks, canoes, dinghies, and small boats.
Key Features
- Versatile Holding Power: Equipped with a 4-fluke folding design that effectively hooks and grips into mud, sand, gravel, and rocky bottoms.
- Finish Protection: The anchor features a thick vinyl coating to prevent it from scratching or scraping your watercraft's finish.
- Compact Storage: The flukes fold down completely flat against the shaft. It includes a padded nylon storage case that muffles noise and fits easily into tight PWC storage compartments or under seats.
- Complete Hardware Setup: The system comes pre-rigged with 25 feet of marine-grade rope, an inline marker buoy, and a heavy-duty stainless steel snap hook for fast tie-ups.
Available Models
- Airhead Grapnel Anchor System [A-2]:
- Features a 3.5 lb. (1.6 kg) anchor.
- Ideal for standard PWCs, jet skis, float tubes, and small inflatables.
- Includes 25 feet of marine-grade line.
Pro-Tip: The "Breakaway" Rigging Method
Because grapnel anchors tightly hook onto rocks and submerged structures, they can easily get permanently snagged. Experienced boaters and kayak anglers frequently modify the rigging into a breakaway setup to guarantee recovery:
- Shackling or tying the primary anchor rope directly to the bottom loop/eye of the anchor instead of the top.
- Routing the rope up along the side of the anchor shaft.
- Securing the rope to the top eye using a standard plastic zip tie.
If the anchor becomes heavily wedged under a rock, a sharp, hard upward tug will break the zip tie. This forces the anchor to be pulled upside-down from its base, instantly releasing the flukes from the obstruction.
