Ancor Self-Extinguishing Split Loom
The Ancor Self-Extinguishing Split Loom is a marine-grade corrugated conduit designed to bundle, route, and safeguard electrical wires against tough environmental hazards. Unlike standard automotive or household split loom tubing, it is explicitly built with flame-retardant materials to prevent a marine electrical issue from turning into a dangerous onboard fire.

Key Specifications & Performance
- Fire Safety Standards: The corrugated material is self-extinguishing in accordance with stringent UL 94 V safety standards. It meets all American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) recommendations for onboard wiring systems.
- Temperature Range: It is engineered to withstand extreme marine thermal shifts, operating effectively from -40°F to 275°F (-40°C to 135°C).
- Chemical & UV Resistance: Constructed from high-strength virgin nylon, it is naturally insoluble in common solvents, alkalis, dilute mineral acids, petrochemicals, and organic acids. It is fully black-pigmented to guard underlying wires from harmful UV radiation damage.
Design Features
- Slit Mechanism: The full-length side split allows wires to be inserted effortlessly. It allows you to pull lead-out wires at any point along the bundle for clean breakouts.
- Heavy-Duty Locking: Features a rigid corrugated design with a mechanical lock that prevents the loom from opening accidentally when bent around tight radii.
